"We had a very enjoyable stay at The Crown. We only stayed one night as was in the way to a wedding at Gretna Green, would definitely stay there again. We had a new girl on reception (didn’t get her name) that booked us, she was so lovely."

"The hotel is in a great location. The facilities were very good and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and had plenty of choices which were kept fresh, it was possibly one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel for a long time. The pool facilities are nice, although the pool is a little smaller than other hotels, the area clean and tidy with a few seats around the side. The hot tub was a decent size for a few adults though. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we were back up in York."

"Just come back from a 3 night stay with my husband. They room spotless and was well decorated. The only criticism is that it was very warm, so we had to sleep with the window open. The breakfast was amazing and has everything you would expect. We would definitely says again. "
