"We had an amazing stay at the Samaria. The staff are extremely accommodating, kind and welcoming. They let us store our baggage upon early arrival and also let us check out later due to a late flight. We use the 15 Euro per day parking valet which we found very easy as well. It’s also on a short (about 8 min walk) to old town and the lighthouse waterfront of Chania. Also the breakfast included in our stay was delicious with lots of options. I would stay again! "

"My girlfriend and I stayed 2 weeks, and this resort is my favorite place in the world. The people that work here are so nice, food is amazing, you can get snacks/drinks anytime 24/7, the WiFi works well (I worked remotely here for 2 weeks). Beautiful views. Our bartenders Manolis and Christo and Maria and everyone would go far out of their way to do you favors. Amazing drinks. It’s the perfect amount of bougie-ness for the price. We stayed in a suite with a balcony overlooking the water and it was super cheap for what we paid. They sometimes have live music and Tomahawk steaks!!! Wow. I love it here. The little town to the west is super cute. "

"We loved our stay. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is helpful. The pools are amazing (although a bit cold in the low season). The facilities are in great condition. We couldn’t have asked for more from this hotel!"

"While the staff were very friendly the hotel was very limited insofar as amenities. The room was not well prepared with bathroom plumbing requiring emergency repair to render it safe. Even with that repair it was a very ‘rustic’ room with little comfort. The most difficult aspect of the hotel was the 90 stairs that had to be climbed to access the room! This was not for the faint of heart and should be highlighted in the description."
