"Amazing views. Beds were rock hard, showers were old and not convenient, but the pool was nice, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely place outside of town. "

"The hotel was fantastic, the rooms were amazing with the private pools. The staff were incredibly accomodating and helpful, and the food options on half board were great. "

"The property was amazing! The only bummer is the pools are unheated and is a bummer as you cant swim in the water or pools this time of year. I would wish they could at least heat the kid pool."

"A very nice upscale all inclusive. Meals were all good as well as the drinks. The only suggestions I can give are- put thermostatic mixing valves on all showers as the temperature swings wildly from cooled to scalding rapidly and place wrapped soap in the soap dish so guests will not assume that the hand lotion is the only available source for washing hands. The breakfast buffet is large and varied and unlike so many other Greek hotels the food on buffets is served hot. Many made to order stations exist. Numerous pools are available and the al a carte restaurants are great. The drink and wine section is also exceptional with a wide choice and excellent recommendations. Overall the best hotel we stayed at in our three weeks at the point of writing this review.
We stayed two nights but you could likely stay a week and not exhaust the choice in bars, menus or drink options. No problem finding a nice lounger by the pool either. "
"The staff were amazing. Very nice and kind. The breakfast was good. The beds were a little hard. Really good taverna restaurant nearby with traditional food. Great location to rent a car and walk from the airport to. Easy. Great stay for an airport transition to or from Heraklion. Quiet room despite being next to airport. "
"This resort is stunning. Unfortunately, we were stuck with 3 days of cold, wind and rain while we were there, so didn't even get to fully enjoy it in its entirety. Even still, we had a wonderful time. Our room was beautiful with a pool view and private hot tub on our balcony. The biggest highlight to us was the FOOD!! Rarely do we walk away from an all-inclusive resort raving about the food, but by far, the best food we've ever had at a resort. Delicious meals with plenty of options. Drinks were also wonderfully made! "
"We loved our time at the IHG- Intercontinental Crete. It’s centrally located in Agios Nikolaos to great food and shops. The hotel has valet parking and it was very easy to get in and out quickly. The staff could not have been more pleasant. From the moment we arrived, they were very attentive and kind. The breakfast was phenomenal and included with out stay. This saved us time and money looking outside of the hotel for breakfast each day. The hotel restaurant and bar are great too. We spent each night having a delicious meal or drink at the hotel. The room was spacious and had everything to make our stay feel like home. We loved our time! 10/10"
"It was ok, we have stayed at the other two hotels, Stella Island and Stella Palace, and to be honest this is not on par with them. The food was very limited, not much choice and if you’re a fussy eater you might struggle. All the flowerbeds were overgrown and if you had a sunbed next to one there was a strong smell of cat urine. The drinks weren’t great, the soda had that off taste or dirty pipes and isnt branded. There were also cockroaches in our room that came from the toilet floor drain. The staff were nice other than one girl at the smaller pool bar, she was always moody and acted like it was a hindrance to serve people.
Overall it was ok and Iv give it a 3 out of 5. I’d probably rather stay at Stella Palace for the same price next time.
The pools were clean but they do allow sunbed reserving and most were taken with towels by 7.30am. Some weren’t even used all day that had been reserved and the staff didn’t do anything to stop that from happening. This would be a major problem at high season."
"It was an excellent and relaxing stay, my top were probably food (huge variety of vegetarian dishes, every day something new and different, excellent à la carte restaurants and food by the beach during the day) The staff deserves a huge applause for their top hospitality friendliness and attitude. Very comfortable room and beautiful surroundings, in my opinion better than the neighboring resorts. Overall very comfortable stay. If I have to say something negative it’s maybe that I’d love it to be an adult only hotel since kids were running everywhere, so definitely more family friendly than a relaxing couple stay, but you cannot satisfy everyone :) anyway I’d definitely come back "
"wifi worked wonderfully. hot tub amazing view and great temperature. very quiet and tucked away. made me an entire cake for my birthday. very wonderful and accommodating staff. Efrain the CEO is on top of everything. Will be back"
"Overall, we had a great experience. The hotel was conveniently situated near many amenities, and we had easy access to transportation, which made it simple to explore the island every day. The staff were really friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed.
Our room had a lovely side view of the ocean—close enough that we could hear the waves, which made the stay even more relaxing. We noticed that some people had complaints about the resort, which is a shame, because we genuinely felt it offered great value for the price we paid."
