"Wonderful staff. The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "

Check in was super slow. Only two people checking guests in at check-in time and each one seemed to take 15 minutes and a couple of walks back and forth to a back office where they typed things in to a computer!? The WiFi was slow and didn’t remember guests after a few minutes which required signing in several times a day. The rooms were dated. You have to walk to the beach to get a towel even if you weren’t going to the beach across the street. Otherwise, our stay was amazing and the breakfast...

Super clean, friendly, and well-maintained hostel in the heart of Copacabana. The staff is very warm and easy-going, I became friends with everyone quickly :). I liked how they updated the activities board daily and invited me to events going on that day. I even joined the Caipirinha-making class run by one of the staff, it was so much fun!

I loved the staff, the front desk guys are extremely helpful, the cleaning lady’s are awesome too, there’s tons of food areas around and the beach is super close. I wasn’t a fan of the homeless, beggars and sellers everywhere and if you want to avoid that go to Ipanema or leblon will be the cleanest but triple the price. The only issue I had was the steam room being stinky but everything else was great. The staff and breakfast is half of why I’d stay there again
