"My wife and I stayed at the resort for a couple days to celebrate our anniversary. The room was small, but newly updated and was fine for a couple. Having the pub with live music as part of the resort was nice and the hotel is just a block from the beach in one direction and Siesta Key village in the other so very convenient."

"We enjoyed our stay at Sparks but there could have been improvements. For example, we would’ve liked to have access to the Hot tub, and the ice machine on the second floor. In addition, I would’ve like to see more options during the breakfast hours, but other than that I’m pleased with my time at Sparks."

"The room slept 6 we were 3 and the room was set up for 2!! No one came in with clean towels or made up the room...we were there 4 days...we found some towels on a cart and got the third set. The trash can was toooo small. The mattress pads were in shreds and should be replaced!! As that really looks tacky. The staff was delightful... since the hotel is under renovation it's hard to keep things neat and the staff only had a tiny table to check people in that was very difficult for them to work. And they did it with a smile."
