"Lovely house in a fabulous and remote location, perfect for starry nights and not having to worry about the neighbours. Large enclosed garden for the dogs so you could relax in the hot tub knowing where they were. Very comfortable bed and big sofas for snoozing on in the evening. Loads of fabulous beaches only 20-30 minutes away. The house needs a bit of care - some lights (inside and out) don’t work, with a couple not having any bulbs in. "Vrbo advertising this property with a ground floor bedroom. This was not the case. My elderly father with mobility issues is unable to go up the stairs, hence why we booked this property. Thank goodness for the property owners and Aleia from Oyster, who managed to secure an additional property for my father to stay in. "Not wanting to be negative since we were on the whole comfortable. Internet connection very poor. House is cosmetically very 'tired' (holes in window frames) . Downstairs bedroom very damp but we were there in dreadful weather. Price reflects these faults I suppose. Location is lovely, peaceful and pretty. Plenty of room for large group."

"The pictures I think were taken a while ago ...yes this is an old property but it desperately needs a makeover soon. It could be described as "cosy" due to the constantly running Rayburn in the kitchen, but that is accompanied by the slight smell of heating oil as well. There is plaster flaking off the walls and cobwebs and dust everywhere and the sofas in the sitting room have very definitely had their day.
