"Great modern boutique hotel with beautiful design and features. Clean, smells brand new still and centrally located. Front desk staff was very friendly and staffed 24 hours. Bed was comfortable, blackout blinds effective, kitchen as described, and towels large and clean. My only complaint is that the so-called fitness centre is not really that at all. It is a tiny room with a treadmill and a couple light dumbbells. They would be better off affiliating themselves with a local gym and give us passes than the “fitness centre” being advertised onsite. Other than that, would highly recommend to friends and colleagues."

"This hotel is centrally located close to many of the main tourist attractions and the theatre district. All within walking distance. Booked a Superior Single room. Room was a decent size and had the usual amenities, iron, coffee maker, etc. No fridge or microwave. The bed is comfortable and the linen is soft. Bathroom just had a shower, no tub and toiletries were supplied. There is no bathroom door. The rooms don't have a standard layout so you could be staring straight into the bathroom from your bed. Finding your room was a challenge as the floors are a rabbit's warren of hallways and the room #s weren't laid out in a logical pattern. There is an digital sign at the elevator where you put in your room # and it shows you how to get to it. Daily housekeeping is provided but if you opt not to have this, you get a coupon for £7 off the breakfast buffet. They will then only clean your room every 4 days. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold items. If paid the night before it's £15, otherwise it's £20 at the door. Traveled to Edinburgh for a few days and was able to store my larger suitcase while I was away until I returned for my last nights in London. I was very pleased with my stay and would book here again. Would recommend."

"I have stayed in many Citizen M Hotels around the world. I actually stayed in this hotel numerous times, some years ago. I was disappointed this time. I pay for a Citizen + yearly membership. Location is excellent. Air conditioning in our room was not very effective. I asked at reception for my room to be cleaned at 1pm to return at 11pm and the room had not been cleaned. Reception could not get access to towels. I had to wait for housekeeping to deliver. I just wanted to go to bed. Some areas need a refresh. Carpets in places are tired. Staff were pleasant."
