The space was generally in poor repair and dirty, and smelled bad. Then we were all bitten many times by Bed Bugs. Cost us two days out of our 9 day trip and over $200 to decontaminate our things with public dryers. The bites were terribly itchy and resulted in two of the five people in our group needing to be seen and given antibiotics for infections. I brought the bites to their attention, and was told “We’ll clean the room again. We just can’t stay ahead of it”. That is unacceptable. This space has potential, but without some significant improvements on cleanliness and pest control, I wouldn’t recommend this hostel.
