Staff were amazing. Daniel on the door was very friendly and super helpful to everyone. Would certainly recommend this property for location. We were given a complimentary upgrade and our suite was wonderful.

We LOVED our stay here. We didn't know much about the neighborhood (family chose the hotel) and Picadilly was so convenient to everything. I was nervous about having our child with us, but reassured since reviews said family friendly. The staff were more than family- friendly; they went above and beyond to make my 4 year old daughter feel welcome and loved having her as a guest (The amazing concierges Bill and Daniel would give her high fives every time we left or returned) and everyone was so accommodating to us traveling with a kid. One night I also asked concierge if they had a nearby pizza place we could walk to, and he gave me a recommendation that ended up being our best trip memory with nana and pappap. We also actually checked in on my birthday and upon return that evening, I was surprised by a card and birthday dessert in the room. The gym was full of high end equipment, and the hotel is near Hyde and St. James parks so you can do a big (or short) running loop. We really felt pampered this stay and would definitely recommend everyone at the Athenaeum. Thank you for a memorable and wonderful stay.

Second time staying at this hotel. Our room was ready early in time for our arrival which was excellent and the location of the hotel was perfect for us. However, service in the restaurant, for both breakfast and lunch, was truly awful and ruined our experience. We won't stay again as there are better hotels in the immediate area.

A wonderful 5 day stay. The staff were courteous and very helpful. They greeted me by name every day. The hotel sent up a complimentary welcome treat to welcome me. The accommodations were excellent. Rooms are large and well appointed. All drinks & snacks in the minibar and fridge are complimentary, restocked every day! Breakfasts included in the rate were wonderful. You can order off the menu and also enjoy the continental breakfast items. There was a complimentary happy hour from 6-7pm! I’d like to recognize front desk staff Zach for his help checking in and throughout my stay. Also to doorman Daniel who was very pleasant every time I entered and exited. He was also helpful with directions and recommendations. The location is terrific, centrally located. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Piccadilly, Regent Street and Oxford Street. Both Green Park and Hyde Park Corner tube stops are close by. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to London. I highly recommend you do as well.
