Staff were friendly enough and the price was good for London, but staff directed me up the wrong flight of stairs initially (I was on the 3rd floor - no lifts). The walls feel fairly thin and you could clearly hear noise and conversations from other rooms. The beds were not the most comfortable. So all in all poor sleep.

I thought they were charging me $542 as stated in your advert, turned out 542 pounds but that is what receipt said. Too loud inside and out but otherwise better than expected.

Cheap and fairly okay. Bed felt like sleeping on the springs in the mattress. Felt dirty except for the sheets. Water pressure was really bad. If you would like cheap (and very central) accomodation and you don't care too much about cleanliness this is the place for you. London Underground is like a 7 minute walk away.

Not happy at all my stay, mainly because the 24/7 check in doesnt exist Stood ring, knocking the door and pressing the doorbell to the property for 20-30 minutes and nobody answered Gave up and had to travel home, long day at work and then couldn't rest had to travel home exhausted and frustrated

Ammenities stated in the description were not provided the bed was extremely bobbly and worn so really uncomfortable and had to sleep on top of the duvet. The fire alarm went off at 1am with no explanation or apology from staff just sent back to rooms to wait for it to stop

Place is a dump. Dirty, old, haphazard renovations, incomplete renovations, poor room security, NO HVAC, and no lift. It’s a LONG way up to the 4th floor. I submitted an earlier review that had pictures attached. Pictures included a snap of the questionable interior door ‘lock’ and views of a ragged carpet w/a huge burn mark on it. There was no mini-fridge, and the hair dryer was in its product box on the floor in the room.

It started badly from the get-go. I had notified the property that we would be arriving very late, got there it was 1:00 am. I had sent messages and called four times with no response. No surprise that when we arrived the person could barely speak English and did not understand us. They had no room key, having to use the master key which they kept. This hotel offered as space for five people. True there were five beds -two twin beds into a 12x12 space where you can barely walk around them, and an upstair loft with another twin and a full. You could not even stand upright because the ceiling was so low, everyone was slouched over. We immediately pulled back the blankets looking for bed bugs. The Linens were clean and smelled like bleach which was the only good aspect. Everything else in the room was dirty. It was a first floor room with the window open wide enough for somebody to come in. We closed it, locking the shutters. In the bathroom, there were dead bugs on the floor, shower, and stuck to the wall. Long black hair in the shower! Unfinished spackle patchwork on the bathroom wall. Young people hanging around outside, laughing and carrying on, making us very uncomfortable and felt unsafe. I immediately told the management this is unacceptable, that we were canceling and want a refund!

Very unpleasant stay

Terrible stay, very uncomfortable and hardly slept a few hours at best each night. We traveled with our 2 children and stayed in a quad room categorized as "premium suite". Next door to a Youth Hostel with activity all throughout the night until 4AM. It was HOT in the room; we requested a fan, none available. We had to sleep with the window open (which could not lock and had a broken glass pane), which in our ground floor room did not feel safe. The second night we were woken up again, other than by the youth hostel traffic and noise, this time by a mouse going through our bags (I got face to face with the creature); the mice got into several bags of food items. Condition of the room was poor: broken glass pane in window, TV had been removed from wall while cable and holes in wall were left untouched. Drapes in front of window were short, not helpful mid summer with very early sunrise. The staff was friendly, that helped and improved the rating, as did the neighborhood offering good places to eat, otherwise this would have been a one star review. I guess we got what we paid for, although still over 400 pounds for two nights though and a mistake I will not make again.
