"The view from the large, open, common areas of this apartment is expansive and stunning, and the reason I booked it, despite thinking it was pricey. The space is very welcoming, both inside, the kitchen, LR and DR areas, and the large balcony, with a grill, table and chairs and great shade if you want it. That said, if I had known that a late night club with loud music was next door, I would not have booked it. The music is not my taste and went on too late. Other things worth noting: beds and seating were comfortable, appreciated that the unit has a good number of outlets, kitchen appliances worked, a small bodega around the corner had milk for coffee, juices and other basic supplies. Some coffee and sugar was left for us which was great! Last... the host, Vassily, was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions."

"I stayed in the Reserve section for two nights. Although the amount I was ultimately charged did not match the amount I was told at check-in, I still think the upgrade was worth it. Since it was my first visit and I do not speak Spanish, having conceirge available to guide me through daily activities and programs was very helpful. Most staff members were kind and helpful. The adult-only pool was clean, relaxing, and not crowded. I also visited the family pool, which was larger and also looked very nice. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated the calmer atmosphere. The food was good and there were plenty of options. As a vegetarian with mushroom and eggplant allergies, I still had enough variety. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Santé and dinner at Blue Agave. Blue Agave had a lovely atmosphere, but the service there was disappointing. My plates were cleared twice while I was still eating, simply because I was typing on my phone. I asked about dessert options and was told churros & vanilla ice cream fritters. I asked for vanilla ice cream with churros, and after about 5 min I was told they only had chocolate ice cream. I had been there only around 40 minutes, the restaurant was nearly empty, and I felt rushed and unwelcome when I had hoped to enjoy my last evening. My reservation included spa credit, but I was booked at Zel, so I couldnt use it. My personal concierge was great and arranged a jacuzzi bath both nights. I also enjoyed yoga, zumba, and bachata on the beach."

"This one is going to be a mixed bag of a review. The Good: Room was nice and clean, housekeeping kept everything nice and restocked our fridge. Francis took us anywhere we wanted to go on resort even set his own alarm to meet us on departure and help with bags. Luis, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding with the check in survey that was at Expedia not at you sir. Thank you for surprising my wife and I with the room being decorated while we were out and the dinner by the beach. Luis was on it and deserves all the love and awards at that place. Thank you Julio for your help as well. Bad:Travel club being rude and liars, parts of resort closed off to different tiers. Food wasnt good, drinks watered down. Adult pool taken away from everyone, was looking forward to that. we decided on day 5 we won’t be back due to how the travel club just doesn’t take no for an answer. 90 minutes turned into 3 hours apparently “can’t afford that” doesn’t click. Also beforehand we were told even if we don’t want it “we’ll still be friends”” that’s a lie cause afterwards I had to force them to shake my hands and they had attitudes. I don’t like how the future looks with this subscription service that the resort is going with. Thank you everyone who helped and were nice but all of the bad outweighed the good. Get rid of travel club they’re bad for your business. "

"Overall, the staff was very nice. The pool could use more maintenance. We didn’t use the pool because they didn’t look too clean. The buffet could have a little bit more international selection. Otherwise, everyone treated us well."
