"This hotel is a calm quiet oasis in the heart of Sirmione old town on the lake edge. We had a lake view room which I'm sure helped our opinion.The hotel is about 5 mins from the ferry terminal. We arrived about 4pm and Sirmione old town at that time is heaving with tourists. Having negotiated the crowds on the main street the hotel was a joy. The room was maybe a little basic and the bathroom needed some tlc but fully functioning air conditioning a comfortable bed a lake facing room and balcony...

"Vi är extremt nöjda med vår vistelse på Hotell Vega i Malcesine. Redan vid ankomsten möttes vi av en underbar atmosfär och ett fantastiskt bemötande. Personalen var otroligt trevlig, personlig och hjälpsam under hela vår vistelse.
Vårt rum överträffade förväntningarna – både balkong och egen terrass med en helt magisk utsikt över Gardasjön. Det är svårt att tänka sig ett bättre läge, mitt i hjärtat av Malcesine och med allt inom räckhåll.

"For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine."
"Alles war perfekt. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat sich jeden Tag erkundigt, wie es uns geht und was wir schönes gemacht haben. Auch unser Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und hat von herzhaft bis süß alles da gehabt. Parken konnten wir direkt am Hotel. Wir mussten zwar den Schlüssel abgeben, damit die Autos aufgrund des Platzes hin und her geparkt werden konnten aber das hat super funktioniert.

"The junior suite has an amazing lake view, comfortable bed (best of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy), large spa tub, and is very spacious.
The property is beautiful and well maintained and truly takes you out of the city. There’s an awesome terrace on the roof with a comfortable hot tub.
The breakfast buffet is also very expansive and there were some great dinner options too. The restaurant also overlooks the lake.
