"I love the location...walking distance to a Publix and a Sports Bar, across the street from a fabulous seafood restaurant (Schuck and Ale) and only a few miles from all the Venice area beaches. There really isn't anything I don't like about it. It's just a great place, very nice people running the hotel. The restaurant, Blu Island Bistro, is amazing. Ate there every day!!! Love Akki, the woman who runs the place!!! "

"We love this hotel. It's our home away from home. The staff is incredible and so helpful. The breakfast is awesome. Always eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy and amazing cinnamon rolls. Also fresh fruit, juice, cereal and milk, yogurt and waffles!! You can't beat this breakfast. Coffee is delicious and they keep it on all day. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable. They have a nice bathroom with the vanity light for makeup which I love! The outside pool is very nice and the gym has everything you need. 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. We won't stay anywhere else in Nokomis."
