"Room was clean but the Floral air fresher or cleaner was so strong I needed to leave the door open and put the A/C and bathroom fan on for 30 minutes. Bed was comfy and the breakfast was OK - Waffles, Muffins, Fruit, Cereal. Staff was helpful and friendly- Kathy was super nice Nothing fancy but it was a place to sleep-- Not to hang out!!"

"Stairwell was pretty dirty and carpeting needed to be replaced. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable but furniture in room was older and a bit banged up BUT, was still usable and considering the room cost not surprising. Overall a pretty decent value."

"The house has a lovely view of the river. Pictures were accurate. The home has been nicely remodeled - a well done remodel or renovation, It was quality workmanship.I was a bit concerned about my ability to manage the stairs, I didn't need to be. The railings were helpful (I have hip issues). It seems this rental is managed by a lovely person or owner and not a rental company. There were nice little things that felt made us feel welcome (like a warm hug).We enjoyed watching the freighters, the booklet with information was helpful. We're curious to learn more about the shipping. We may be back in the winter to see how the ice is handled to keep the shipping lanes open.Thanks for sharing this lovely home."

"This location was perfect for our Niece's wedding at the Schoolhouse Grille - about 1 mile away! The four bedrooms upstairs each with their own full bath was exactly what we needed. Outdoor by the pool and canal is serene and very relaxing. We would highly recommend this property."
