"Room was ,clean pool was clean ,air works. Kitchen had everything needed for are 3 day stay.Kure beach is steps away life guard was right there.Anyway will will stay again if Kure beach is again in our future.Service was by text message and work well timely and pleasant response"

"Loved this hotel, super nice and staff is helpful and friendly. I stayed with my family of 5, only issue was the sheets on the pull out couch. Was somewhat dirty but other than that everything was perfect! We loved it here. Would definitely stay again"

"We had a balcony floor 5 room facing the ocean. It was a well-designed room for the beach. The balcony was a delightful place to sit, but the air temperature during our stay was in the 90s and hot air from the room was being exhausted into the area of the balcony. We also had the temperature of the room set at 78 and the door to the balcony closed, but during the night water condensation made the floor and other surfaces very wet and slippery, necessitating a call for an attendant to mop the water up. Aside from these problems, we were delighted with our stay and the service was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the Ocean Grill restaurant associated with the hotel."

"On the riverwalk across from the battleship New Jersey for nice sunsets. Very close to where the walking tours start downtown. Air conditioning worked so well. Lots of excellent shops nearby like The Black Cat. Great restaurants of all types in walking distance. Ice cream shops open late and lots of restaurants and bars open even later. Downtown is quite walkable. Parking available for an additional fee. The parking was close to an entrance neat the pool."

"We had no idea what to expect on this trip never having visited Carolina Beach previously. The whole trip was great! The Oceaneer was very nicely remodeled and modernized but had a chic style that wasn’t just another hotel chain property type vibe. The location on the beachfront was excellent and our room was nicely appointed. About the only negatives werr the fact that we didn’t have a microwave in the room and the gym air conditioner was not working and so it was super hot and stuffy in the room. I have to say though that the staff did allow us to leave the door open to let some air circulate in and the equipment itself was too notch for a hotel gym and all functioning appropriately. We will stay again in the future."
