The hotel is starting to look a bit dated but will serve both business customers as well as families and tourists. "Nice clean hotel with a full breakfast and decent restaurant and bar. Rooms are large and spacious and clean. Hotel has a great presence and is adorned with full animal mounts that represent Alaska. The hotel is starting to look a bit dated but will serve both business customers as well as families and tourists. Like a lot of Anchorage the area has its share of sketchy characters and street people but not as many as downtown location. There is shopping and restaurants nearby but you may want to rent a car if you are staying more than a day as there isn’t much to see close by. Some of the staff were awesome and friendly. I would stay here again."
