"Firstly, the location is PERFECT - it's walking distance to literally everything in Florence. Close to all the main sights, best restaurants, bars, shops, you name it. Service was also great and extremely friendly / attentive. We checked in a bit early and they immediately had someone come tag all of our bags to store them. Once we checked in they brought them all up. The real highlight of this stay though was the room. I had booked a regular deluxe room but upon check-in was told by the lovely front desk agent that they had upgraded us. He said his colleague would have to escort us to our room and we weren't sure why but we just went with it. Once we got there we realized why ... the room was INCREDIBLE. They put us in a room called Suite Beatrice. Everything about it was perfect, the stunning ceiling and artwork, the lovely bathrooms, the balcony, the incredibly powerful two zone AC (both bedrooms had independent AC controls which is a GAME CHANGER). We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't included in our booking but we did take a look and the spread looked wonderful. Also, you don't have to have a suite to enjoy this hotel - our friends had a regular deluxe room and their room was great too! Good size, clean / updated, great bathrooms. Highly recommend."
