"This is an excellent hotel. The staff were very friendly and personable. They did small touches that meant a lot. It was my husband’s birthday. They brought him a piece of cheesecake with a candle at breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco that night. A nice card and cookies when we were leaving. The breakfast was very good. Air conditioning worked great! Room was clean. The location was excellent. Close to the train station and all of the sites. Many restaurants in the area. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The Location of this hotel, 2 blocks of the Duomo, and the attentive staff made the stay in Florence very pleasant. Old fashioned keys and comfortable beds made for a great stay. Steps away from the Duomo and a right or left turns out of the building sent you off to other piazzas and attractions."

"I can’t say enough about this hotel. It was my favourite on our trip. The room was huge, it’s in a great area within walking distance to all the great sites and clean. However, there was a negative. The hotel backs in to Piazza Republicca. This, at first, was a positive however, on some nights there is someone singing in the square. I would normally love this but they sing some nights to 1 am!! It’s impossible to sleep until that is finished. I can understand the singing but it should definitely stop by 10 or 11. The hotel has tried to stop this but are not able to. Other than that, this is a top hotel for us."

"Good location near the train station, but not too close. Super clean, nice modern bathrooms, pleasant staff, and very comfortable beds. This would have been an excellent review except that we had a billing issue regarding breakfast charges. We only ate breakfast at the hotel the first morning but were charged for two days and when I asked to have it taken off the bill, the request was refused. I would still consider staying there again as the location was convenient for our needs."
