"This is a very nice cabin,it was very clean and well stocked.The check in process was easy and location was perfect. It is very quiet and peaceful,but be aware not to leave trash or food out because bears are out"

"The condo was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The view of the mountains and lake from the balconies were wonderful. The only issue we had was trying to get the wifi codes for the television to work so we could watch live shows and sports. Most of these rentals use wifi streaming to reduce the cost for the owners but are not a preferable choice for many renters. With all that being said, we were very pleased with our choice and would rent this unit again in the future."

"We loved the location of this property, private feeling and with trees all around. The smells and sounds of summer and nature were very relaxing. We loved the outdoor space and the windows which afforded a lovely view no matter where you looked. It was a like a tree house get away. There are stairs to get to the front door and stairs to get down to the 2nd bathroom and beds on the “basement” level. The downstairs can only be accessed from the outside and is completely separate from the main space. It was so conveniently located to the lake for boat rentals and a market just down the road. 5 minute drive to Chimney Rock’s little Main Street. An hour to Asheville for a day trip. We would stay here again but there were a lot of spiders and webs (you are in nature, in a forested location) so you must sweep them away every time you go out on the deck especially if you have little ones or pets visiting. While we were there the hot tub was broken and the upstairs shower was not working but our host was so kind to refund us for the inconvenience and was very easy to communicate with. It’s a quaint, quirky older property but it has a very relaxing and comfortable air about it. The beds were comfortable and it was a safe, quiet place to stay."

"Loved all the info available for surrounding areas, though some could use updating. This was a quiet and relaxing area. View was not quite what I expected because of tree growth/season, but on the flip side, it felt private. Didn't have any one on one correspondence with hosts, which seemed a little different, but there also wasn't really a need for it. All in all, a good visit."

"Everything was wonderful. Very convenient and a beautiful place to stay. The quick walk down to the dock, was it easily accessible, having canoes and something to do while being there was extremely convenient. The total atmosphere was great. I will definitely be booking more trips here in the future ."
