Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. Very nice hotel, great location and very nice and clean

This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity...

The hotel was awesome. Highly recommend staying in a Cambria hotel if you are anywhere near one or planning a trip, it would be a great choice.

We had free hotels.com nights and were disappointed that the boutique hotel in town wouldn't accept them so we booked the hampton inn instead. I am so glad we did. This is our second time staying at the Village Hotel. We like how close it is to dining and activities, like the winery and the village. Parking is plentiful and free. The only thing I would change is that the Estate has a shuttle for Inn guests only, but I would make it available to all guests, because it literally drives right past the Village hotel with no one on it. Clean, comfortable room with a nice creek front balcony and back porch. The sound of the creek was peaceful and contributed to the overall atmosphere. Great hotel.

It's a nice property. Room was clean. Not a fan of the homeless people, and drug use in the parking lot, but hotel is probably powerless against that.

Good value for the hotel-stay dollar

Solid location. No complaints. The reason I regularly choose Hampton is the consistency of service and facilities. I do hate how hotels no longer provide daily cleaning/refreshing -- it's a lazy by-product of CoVID. We pay daily rates -- we should get daily service.

The Hampton Inn. in Dobson is close to Shelton Winery. They provide free shuttle to the winery. As for the property itself, our room was very large, quiet, and they have a really nice hot breakfast where you can eat inside or outside on their patio. We really enjoyed our stay.

Greeted by the amazing staff upon arrival, it feltblikebinwas visiting family... Christmas decorations had recently been put up, adding to the warmth of the atmosphere. Complimentary bottled water and cookies were out. Very nice touch. The room was comfy, and I slept great! Very well appointed breakfast buffet in the morning added to the nice stay. I have yet to encounter a hotel that had everything together like this one had! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Very convenient location: minutes from the interstate to get you nearly anywhere; maybe 10 minutes from Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway. There is also a nice grocery store almost across the street, lots of restaurants, and the mall nearby. This was probably the most quiet hotel we have ever stayed in.
