"The open air bar with the view to the ocean is special. There is a fun vibe to the hotel. The food and beverage choices are excellent. Not typical of hotel food. Location is very good. I like the valet parking. It keeps your car safe and there is limited parking at the beach. Nice rooms. I will stay there again."

"The location is amazing. Old town trolley actually stops here or historic area is a 10-15min walk. The oldest tree on property is SO beautiful. Hot breakfast was simple yet convenient"

"This is a very old hotel in Gainesville. It's convenient to the University, local restaurants and shopping. The breakfast is fair quality at best, Cracker Barrel is right next door. The staff in the daytime was outstanding, but not so friendly at night. Parking is a challenge with most way off to the side of the property. "
