Place was excellent for a getaway. Check in was easy and in a great location. A short walk to the beach without having to cross any streets. Surrounding places were peaceful and everyone was respectful. Location was also close to great breakfast and dinner/lunch businesses.

I had a mini vacation here between conferences at the University of Florida. I had a delightful room, wonderful facilities, gardens, saltwater pool, and the cat Butterscotch was a wonderful friend as I had a lovely evening in a rocker on the porch with a bit of wine and a book. I highly recommend the massage therapist option. She was wonderful and set up and collapse was not intrusive in my room.

Great place to stay if you take advantage of Schooner Freedom charter cruise, minutes away.

No negative comments. Room clean, staff competent, breakfast excellent.

The surrounding view was absolutely untouchable! Rocking chairs, a lap blanket in January, a hot coffee and watching the sun rise and set over the water is a memory you'll never forget. Did I mention the dolphins?? You will regret staying ANYWHERE ELSE.

I could not have been more pleased with The Cozy Inn. The staff were so helpful, going above and beyond what would have been expected!! There is nothing negative I can write. In a great location for all types of restaurants, etc. The Tour Bus picks up at their door - even this morning when it was pouring down rain!!

We stayed at this Inn for two nights. Given the age of the Inn (1791), there was a concerned for musty orders, things not working. But it was perfect! Rooms were immaculately clean, plentys of outlets, and a spa bathtub in our room too. A/C, heating perfect and the room beautifully decorated with period pieces. All new plumbing. Pretty palm trees, friendly helpful staff, clean hotel, comfortable beds, third floor room has big walk in shower and separate tub, spacious room and bathroom, covered parking from sun and rain, convenient to beach, restaurants and shopping. Nice pool area and outside patio. Great breakfast!!

A jewel of a hotel. Loved everything except the entrance curb was too deep for lower-leveled cars like my Chrysler 300.

By far, best feature of the hotel is the pool area - it did not disappoint. Compared to so many other hotels, this pool has fun waterfalls which also provided shade. For the weekend we were there, it never felt crowded because the area in and around the pool is spacious. Loved how breakfast was a little different each morning - plenty of options. We were there for the weekend of our 40th anniversary, and the weather didn't cooperate( cold and breezy). Hotel was very cozy and warm. It would be a perfect place to stay for a week or so. Plenty of good food in the area....lots to do, or great place to just hang out. We'll be back.

We had a truly wonderful time during our three day stay. The staff was always there and always helpful. The happy hour was so much fun. We met so many people and had so many wonderful conversations on that "happy hour" deck overlooking the ocean. The staff was always there to meet your every need - and the unlimited, complamentry beer/wine/snacks during happy hour was way beyond expectations. The only negative thing in the entire stay was the bed. I think the matress came over on the Mayflower....

Great location right in the beach! Older , retro style motel but very well kept and renovated! Breakfast is simple sweets and muffins but the coffee is quite delicious and fresh! Staff were very helpful and friendly! We will come back when it’s warm enough to use the beautiful pool!

This was a lovely little bed and breakfast in downtown St. Mary's - just steps from where you catch the ferry for Cumberland Island. The staff was lovely and made us feel welcome for our brief stay. They do make up a special breakfast in the morning, something different each day, so tell them if you have special dietary restrictions. I loved this hotel, it was our first time to Amelia Island. We have two small kids, ages 5 and 2. Everyone had a blast. Property is awesome. As always the customer service at a Ritz Carlton is above and beyond. The location is great, short drive or uber ride in to downtown. Beach feels secluded. Room was very clean, which we so much appreciated!! Hot breakfast covered all the bases from fruit,eggs,made to order waffles,French toast,bagels muffins, juices coffee and oatmeal,biscuits and gravy. the location was close by the Mayo clinic. The only thing I did not like was the 13.00 per day parking fee. The parking was on site, so I feel the charge was just a money grab!! But overall I was pleased with my stay, exceeded my expectations!!
