Find Golf Hotels in Northern Madeira

The views from the ocean view are amazing. Beautiful location too. Rooms are older and quite dated yet very clean and a great balcony. We’d stay again for sure.

Incredible resort. From the moment we arrived, the property was breathtaking and very well maintained. It has multiple pools and dining options. The food was very good with lots of options. Reservations for the restaurants opened at midnight and you had to book quickly or you won’t get a spot. The resort offered many activities throughout the day and night. The gym was well equipped. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. When the star gazing was cancelled, they put out the telescope just for...

It was a good decision chooosing to stay out of the City of Funchal and stay at this charming hotel with tranquil atmosphere that i feel well rested during my 4 night stay. The Staff were very friendly especially at the Restaurant, clean and spacious room, comfy bed, and it's also a big plus with Restaurant: serving good and traditional food. The breakfast buffet offers good choices of fresh fruits, fresh bread sortiments, home-made jam and their tasty omelet is never to miss. Some points for...

This was my second time staying at Cliff bay and it was even more exceptional than the first. The have very low employee turnover so you are remembered which was very nice:-) The food is world class and the accommodations were amazing, I am already planning my next visit!!!

Good breakfast nice staff

I loved this place from the minute I walked in the door! Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

This is our go to hotel when flying out of Madeira Island. Staff is extremely accommodating. Although we left for the airport at 3 AM, we were provided with a boxed breakfasts. It is only about a 10 minute cab ride to the airport and runs around 10 euros. Perfect and convenient.

We had such a lovely stay and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always happy to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. It’s the little things that make a stay memorable, and this hotel certainly got them right. We felt relaxed, well looked after and genuinely enjoyed every moment of our time here. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would highly...

We loved everything about Quinta Jardins do Lago! The staff was fr

Closed to the beach and a lot of stores. We took bus 1, 2 and 4 to the center Funchal (€2). The bus stop is close by and also took the aerobus to and from the airport. Only €6 per person, which is way cheaper than a taxi fee. Breakfast was very nice. They have a omelette station, fruits, bread and hot food selection.

The location was very convenient for trips to both the coast and inside of the island, a straight shot from the airport but still quiet, safe and secluded. The property was sparkling clean, including grounds and swimming pools. 24 hrs front desk, quickly responsive to requests such as extra patio chair or ironing equipment. Plenty of lounge chairs available with or without sunshade around the immaculately clean pools. Food variety at each meal included vegetarian, gluten and lactose free...

It's been my home for years. Wonderful landscape, pools even sea water pool. Nice staff good pool Manager and staff, very devoted. It's relative quiet. No loud tacky Americans in sights, people dress Decently even at dinner. You can chose A mountain view, a Harbour view, or even A dedicatedly sea view. I prefer the Harbor view since you see both , sea and Harbor. Fine dining, especially the Red Lion across the street. Decent food well priced.

Our stay here totally exceeded expectations! The grounds are gorgeous and the room was enormous compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Lisbon and Porto. The staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. The kitchenette in the room was such a welcome surprise. We were able to cook a nice dinner one evening that we enjoyed on the patio overlooking downtown Funchal. Definitely hit the breakfast for 12 euros at least once. It was charming and delicious.

It was lovely fine days full of comfort from the always helpful stuff, gorgeous garden to walk and relax in, and a marvelous cliff overlooking the marina and sea of Funchal. The balcony/terrace was south oriented - full of flowers in pots, with a sunshade, table and chairs - lovely place to take a glass in the evening. The only small minus was a bit of possible noise from neighbour's room, but that wasn't a problem, rather just a notice.

This is a beautifully maintained property with great views over Funchal. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. A most enjoyable stay.

My husband and I stayed four nights and had a very positive experience. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel has a low density in terms of number of rooms and a relaxing atmosphere was prevalent. The breakfast buffet (included in price) was excellent and provided a good variety of good quality choices. The pool, while outdoors, was heated sufficiently to allow a swim even when the temperature was on the chilly side. The room was clean...

This location was beautiful. Staff amazing! Breakfast buffet the best, I’ve ever had. The lobby and surrounding grounds amazing. Great room! Highly recommend.
