"Room had a roof leak which soaked our room floor we didn’t notice at first and laid our bags down as we walked in and completely soaked our stuff. The pool was nice great location, parking is terrible. The front entrance of the resort was under construction and everything was just very outdated for the price you pay. Great location though. "

"Comfortable and quiet but a long walk from the lobby (not too bad tho). Close to the beach. Listing details are accurate. Excellent communication from host. Starbucks in the lobby () and a sundry a souvenir shop (). View is to die for and really what you’re paying for. Driftwood Bar and Grill is poolside. Drinks are nice, food is ok — good choices for kids. Parking is 40/day and you will need a rental car unless you plan to stay at property the whole time. 40 fee includes valet service but self-parking lot is close to the entrance if you’re fed up with tipping. All staff we met was very friendly. "

"The room was great, as advertised. The hotel itself could use some fresh paint and love. The lobby was being redone during our stay so there were not many options to hang out during rain etc. the location was central to get around anywhere on the island. Had to pay for parking a rental car which we were unaware of, it was $320 for eights days. "

"The ocean was visible from the room, and the nice looked out on a wide open field with no buildings in site. The room was very clean, and be patient. Michael was excellent at his response time and attention to detail. Very pleased with this property."

"The room was clean and spacious with many conveniences. There is an ocean view from the lanai. The pool and restaurant/bar area was well maintained and staffed. This is a conveniently located and well-run resort. "

"Great view from the room. It was quite stuffy when we arrived and it took a day to get it comfortable. The room is fine but the resort is in poor condition. They say lobby is closed for renovations in the listing but that doesn't do it justice. The entire front entrance to the resort is blocked off with no direct access to anything. Some.of the exterior doors are broken and several wi.dows replaced with wood. "

"The view from the room is absolutely beautiful! The owners very very responsive. We are more adventure seekers so did not use the pools very much but the grounds are lovely! We loved staying in Lihue and hope to come back again! Mahalo"

"our host was great, the room was perfect for our needs, it ended up close enough to our family. The hotel was undergoing renovations so there was no lobby and you have to change buildings and 2 elevator rides to get to the restaurant/pool/bar but that’s not Lily’s fault and she did let us know in advance. KBR is a great central location on the island. Easy access to anywhere. Thankful for Lily and her room, it made for a great family vacation! "
