"Check-in took forever as there was only one person checking people in. There was no where to park the rental car during check in because didn't have room key for garage. On site restaurants were always busy. Hard to get a chair at the pool. Pool wristband policy didn't feel like it was enforced well."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was very friendly, and the property was clean and conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants, and especially the Island Country Market, which was so convenient. The parking rate was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The onsite parking lot is small, but they do offer additional offsite parking nearby within the same block. They also have onsite laundry facilities, which were clean and convenient to use. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The property is a little dated and it’s not a fancy resort, but if you’re coming to Hawaii to explore and experience the island rather than spend your entire vacation at a resort, this is a great place to stay. We had a great experience and would definitely book here again."

"We enjoyed our stay! Rooms were clean and staff were very kind. Would highly recommend it! We couldn’t have breakfast with the hotel voucher at Monkeypod because they DON’T have any dairy and only one gluten-free option in their menu…."

"Property was very nice overall and well located near the beach and restaurants. My only major complaint is the connecting rooms you can hear literally EVERYTHING in the next room, it feels like you’re sharing your room with strangers. I would stay again only if I didn’t have a room with a connecting door."

"Very very dated property and room. Brekfast was good and shuttle from airport was on time and friendly. Only stayed for th night due to a late arrival. Wouldn’t stay long term."
