"Great location, very clean rooms, breakfast was fine though mostly unknown dishes.
Big issue was inadequate AC, and no real effort by the staff to fix it. We had to change from our paid extra view room, to a non view room with only marginal AC. Rooms are very small.
Lots of places to eat near the hotel, really enjoyed the food and outdoor dining at the Rainbow Fish down the street.
Not too bad an uphill walk to the major sites. Lots of vendors attempting to get your business by chatting with you, but they all bowed out eventually in a pleasant enough way.
T1 tram is up by the Blue Mosque, and it is about $1 (42 Lira) per ride, regardless of the number of stops. You can get a re-loadable card, or pay a little more and just use your charge card when you get to the turnstile."
