If you have the opportunity to stay at this unique boutique hotel then your super lucky. From the time we entered into this beautiful lobby and were greeted by the nicest guy Gabriel who stored our luggage and offered coffee at 8AM. I will only stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The location is ideal - quieter street but walkable to everything. The amenities are everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff is out of this world - energetic, professional and helpful.

I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies,flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.

All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Exceptionally nice property. Great staff, nice rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pricey, but it did deliver on quality and variety. And of course a fantastic location and the place is quiet, which we liked.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous and the staff was all very very helpful and friendly. The absolute only thing I didn't love was the room being in a different building from the main hotel. The lounge was breathtaking and all the bartenders were excellent and very sociable.

The hotel is walkable to a number of the places we were visiting. I liked that it wasn’t in the city center but only 10 minutes from the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable.

Very pleased with our comfort room stay for 4 nights. Was quiet (despite the coinciding Amsterdam Dance Exhibition drawing half a million to the City, bed mattress very comfortable (pillows too thick), great shower and hot water availability (hate the little aluminum tubes with soap shampoo, etc - hard to fully extract, lids fall on the floor), great location for access to city center. My wife and I had a pleasant three night stay at this charming hotel. It's in a great, but quiet, shopping neighborhood on a picturesque canal. The service and food were first rate. The food at Occo was very good, but try to get a reservation at Vinkeles, the Michelin-starred restaurant on the premises.

Great hotel and great location

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel and could not have loved it more. The location is perfect for walking and exploring all different parts of the city. Dam Square, The Red Light District, The Anne Frank house, The Heineken Experience, and The Rijksmuseum area were all within walking distance; some closer than others. The Staff on the front desk wasn’t very welcome. The lady at the restaurant Gorette was amazing, very sweet and efficient.
