"We stayed for one week at the Tivoli Doelen in Amsterdam, right on one of the canals in a very centrally-located place. Their employees were excellent, especially Sonne who checked us in and then continued to help us with recommendations throughout our visit. She truly gave us outstanding service. We were traveling with our adult daughter, so we had two rooms. They both overlooked one of the canals, which was a beautiful view. It was about a 5 minute walk to the closest Metro station and there were excellent restaurants and some shops all within walking distance. The bed was a little firm for me, but my husband and daughter were both very comfortable in it. The bathroom doesn't have a lot of counter space, but there was a shelf outside the bathroom that we used for some of our things. All together, it was the perfect location for our week-long stay in the beautiful city of Amsterdam."
