"Great location - very close to Paradiso and we could see the Rijksmuseum from our window. The hotel itself was in an old tenement style building which i thought was cool. Our room was a small attic room which was clean and comfortable. The window didnt open, but there was air con. "

"Centrally located. Transportation easily accessible. Near shops and dining. Walkable to major attractions. Hotel lobby very attractive and the rooms nicely laid out with good amenities. The staff were all exceptional- perfect ! …except for the restaurant where they could barely be bothered to seat us and throw a menu at us- we left as there are many good options close by. Bar had good service tho. Walls are thin so noise does travel but staff were highly responsive in dealing with excessive noise quickly and diplomatically. Highly recommend this property!"

"From what I could find, this hotel is in a 150yo building. So don't expect AC although the windows open for air and they provide a fan. I don't think there was a level floor in the building 😆, the floor in my room was squeeky. There was a small step up into the bathroom and stairs are necessary to use to go down to the breakfast area so not easily accessible for a non-walking person. Location was excellant, very walkable, close to public transit and museums, lots of great restaurants and close to the main canals. I highly recommend doing a guided bike tour to best see the city and learn the history. Staff at the hotel were excellant and friendly. I would stay here again although not in the heat of the summer."

"I stayed at the Eden Hotel in June 2024. The staff was friendly, helpful, and not obtrusive. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The lobby was calm, stylish, and welcoming. This hotel is good for thoughtful tourists. Thankfully, it did not seem to cater to large gangs of drunk young people. The location was perfect for accessing the major tourist destinations, including Dam square, Rembrandtplein square, Amsterdam Centraal train station, Jordaan, museum district, De Pijp. We mostly walked to these places, but occasionally used the tram stop at Rembrandtplein square, which is conveniently close to the hotel. The tram is a good option for travel between the Eden and Amsterdam Centraal. I stayed in a double room on the third floor with a fantastic view of the Singel. The room had complementary espresso coffee (very nice) and still water (glass bottle). The bed was comfortable. By American hotel standards, the room was not large, but it was fine for staying in Amsterdam, because we spent most of our time exploring the city. Before our stay, I was a little concerned about the noise level at night, but it was fine and I slept well. My only suggestion - not a complaint - is that it would have been nice to swing open the window. The window had a horizontal hinge at the top that allows one to crack open the bottom by only a few inches. Nevertheless, that opening provided a nice breeze and pleasant sounds of canal life below. I did not have breakfast. "
