"Centrally located from Central Station, by Dam Square and the palace. Ride the subway to Rokin exit rather than drag suitcases a mile from central station. Staff was wonderful and very welcoming. Breakfast was same everyday, but very good. We walked our feet off but the hotel is located near pubs and great restaurants. Highly recommended 😎"

"The hotel was centrally located in Amsterdam, right by the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark. The room was very nice and the hotel was very clean. It had a bar and restaurant. The staff was very friendly. I only gave it a 4 because of the extra charges incurred at checkout. Due to VAT and city fees, we paid an extra $328 euros on checkout. A 3-night stay cost more than a 4-night stay in Paris at comparable hotels. "

A hotel room should be a clean, secure environment, and encountering a rodent raises significant concerns about overall cleanliness and maintenance. I was also traveling with my child, which makes this situation even more concerning. I have no way of knowing what the rodent may have touched or contaminated within the room, and this created additional stress and worry about our health and safety. This situation caused considerable discomfort and distress, and it has significantly impacted my stay. Given the severity of the issue, I do not believe the room met even basic accommodation standards. Considering the circumstances and the high price paid, I am requesting a full refund for my stay. "By far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Each staff member was knowledgeable, helpful, and went above and beyond to anticipate my needs and assist without even needing to be asked. The room was immaculate and the heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch, the location was safe, room service was fast (and most importantly delicious), and the courtyard was gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things, thank you everyone who made my honeymoon extra special at The Pulitzer!"
