"Negatives: hotel is outdated and rooms are very modest. Positives: rooms are reasonably clean, excellent location and excellent breakfast. Overall, great value for the money and highly recommended if you just need a convenient place to sleep and convenient great breakfast before you head out for the day. 15 minute walk to Anne Frank’s museum and the heart of canal belt/ Jordaan, 15 minute walk to Centraal train station (trains to airport, to nearby windmill village, etc.), less than 10 min walk to the red light district."

"Perfect solo setup. The room was great, but the real draw is the building’s history and the canal view. It’s a convenient spot, everything from the nightlife to the train, bus, ferry station is right there. You’re in the middle of the Amsterdam buzz, but the room itself was a solid retreat. No complaints."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal. It’s a very clean hotel, staff were lovely & the price is very reasonable. I had a single room which was very small but comfortable - en suite was also very small but perfectly serviceable. The breakfast was of adequate quality & there was plenty of food available but the breakfast didn’t open till 8am which I felt was a little late if you are joining a tour/day trip. "
