"Nice, well maintained houseboat with everything in good condition. There are lots of windows and skylights so the boat is not dark. The boat has heating for the winter. The host is extremely nice and stored our luggage for us when we arrived at 11am from our flight. He also rushed the cleaning so we could check in early and nap—wonderful first place to stay after a long flight. There was a large supply of coffee pods for the machine which was appreciated! "Cozy and comfy houseboat with everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and maintained communication to you ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. We would still return here next time we're in Amsterdam."

"It’s a sufficient place to stay, a good location, and the owner is lovely, but you have to climb up and down stairs that are almost like a ladder to get to your room and there is NO view whatsoever. It’s a barge, not really a houseboat. We are older, and wouldn’t have rented if we had known you couldn’t see out and ladder climbing was involved!"

The next floor down was a sitting area with a small refrigerator but no microwave; the same floor gave you access to the toilet and shower. Bottom floor provided a bed, very-very small sink, and a place to hang a few things up. If you’re under 5’8” and barefoot you should not hit your head on the ceiling. The location is a much quieter area that is about a 15 minute tram ride into the center of Amsterdam so it was nice to escape the bustling city at night with the option of restaurants and shops still nearby. "My friend and I absolutely loved our stay on the boat. The neighborhood is quiet so it was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam Centre. The suite is spacious and very comfortable with all of the amenities you would need. Sander was very friendly and provided a lot of information about the area.
