All the staff was great and Virginia helped us arrange all our transportation and our tour. We also loved Inti, the baby alpaca!! "Fabulous hotel. Great staff and superb restaurant. Only little grouse we had was that we got the room bang smack on top of the railway platform. Think pre dawn train sounds and loud live band at train boarding times (a unique Peru Rail feature)! The rooms deeper in the property would not have that issue. Lovely flora and views inside too. Overall a very nice little hotel. Would happily go back again."

"This was a lovely boutique hotel with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Very accommodating staff with a nice breakfast and good information about the town and tour options. The manager took me on a private tour of the Sacred Valley and also woke up extra early to make me breakfast before my Machu Picchu visit. There was no heat in the room but there were plenty of warm blankets to keep you comfortable. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Ollantaytambo area. "

"Sound travels easily in the house so it can be noisy at times. Otherwise it’s an excellent place to stay. A short and very scenic walk to the plaza which has tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and spas. The owner Jorge and his staff took excellent care of us. "

"It's right next to a beautiful rushing creek, with a lovely field across it. There is a view of the local ruins. The garden and common/dining area are beautiful as well. The hosts are friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. If you don't like white noise, the sound of the creek may not be for you, I enjoyed it. The description advertises down comforters and pillow selections, but that's not the case. We were cold, so we asked, and they provided a space heater, which worked very well. The floors and bathroom were very clean. The shower tiles were slippery for my elderly father, and he wished there were grab bars, but few hotels in the area offer them, it's not a common feature. He walks very slowly, and it wasn't easy to catch a tuktuk from the location, or to get one at night on the way back, but for those who aren't mobility-challanged, it's an easy walk to and from town center. Older adults may wish to be closer to the plaza. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and I would stay again!"
