This is a great hotel tucked in the upper heart of Ollantaytaytambo. Traditional stone building with communal rooftop terrace that has breathtaking mountain and ruin views. The main woman who runs it makes you feel at home with her warmth and great restaurant recommendations (picolos for the traditional pizza). The staff were very helpful and the rooms are nicely done. The hotel is around 15 minutes away from Urubamba. At the same time, It was relaxing and will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip.

Wonderful experience! This hotel is set among the Andes, close to the Sacred Valley, with spectacular grounds that are very well manicured. The hotel lobby has a large, open look, with a fire place in the center, and a hidden bar downstairs with a nice little nook to relax in. The grounds offer hammocks, a fenced-in llama feeding area, planetarium, spa, and more. The rooms have majestic views and are both comfortable and very clean. The staff and owner are absolutely wonderful. They were so accommodating to us in whatever way we needed. This property is worth every penny. The food was incredible. The spa treatments were amazing. Highly recommend!

Great family-owned hotel with comfortable rooms, hearty breakfast, plenty of hot water and friendly staff. It's a bit up from the hubbub of the central village square, so it's very quiet and peaceful. Thank you Sten and Edith for hosting us!

This is fantastic hotel. We had a double room with shared bathroom and view of the mountain and Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo. The owner is very helpful with directions and arranging rides. The breakfast is abundant and healthy. Some info for travelers which I discovered while being there: Ollantaytambo is the coziest village I have visited. There are plenty or restaurants downtown, and many Inca ruins to visit within a small radius. It is also the start of a 3-5 day Inca trail to Machu Picchu....

This intimate hotel was just the ticket for this town. Beautifully manicured courtyard, free parking and rooms made for families. As of October 2024, the bridge through the center of town is out, but it looks like it will be restored soon. We received excellent customer service from the staff, especially Alex. They took a genuine interest in ensuring our time in the Inka sacred valley was pleasant and that we got the most out of our brief time there.

This was an amazing experience. We spent one night and the service was exceptional. We had dinner on site and breakfast. I would totally stay here again, we had a beautiful experience and were able to sleep under the stars.

The hotel location is great, 4-5 minutes walk to the town center, restaurants and the main attractions. The staff was super helpful. The room and amenities are basic, but clean. There are a few steps from the road where the car can park to the hotel entrance, so you have to lift your luggages for a few steps. We had a great time in Ollantaytambo.

Hotel Lizzy Wasi sits behind a nondescript wall in a skinny alleyway in Urubamba, but once you walk through the door, a whole new world opens up. Gorgeous gardens and the smell of fragrant jasmine await you. Run by US expat Lizzy, Hotel Lizzy Wasi was the perfect place for our family. Our stay here was a last-minute decision because of a flight delay, and we couldn't have been more pleased. This hotel may be the farthest from the Plaza and ruins, but you can walk through the entire Ollantaytambo main city in less than 10 minutes. This hotel is picturesque. Stayed one night. We booked the room with one full bed and two twin beds. Large bathroom. Breakfast starts at 5 am, but our train to Machu Picchu was at 5 am. They packed each of us a bag of food and met us at 4:45 am to provide us this free snack for our trip. They stored our suitcases for the 2 full days that we were in...

This hotel is a bit of a walk from the main square where taxis can drop you off. However, it is a lovely little place, nestled up against the mountain on the edge of this charming town (village). Our room was clean, comfortable, and lovely. The staff were great. Helpful, attentive, friendly.

My girlfriend and I were breath-taken at this beautiful place, the architecture and hospitality was amazing. The front desk and staff are the sweetest and always there to help you in any need. What shocked me the most was the chef! We’ve tried every single dinner dish and all i can say is WOW! We loved every night staying here. Very peaceful and relaxing, this is a highly RECOMMENDED location. Thank you!

The location is fantastic. Only a couple of minutes from the center. The staff was very sweet, we felt like we were staying with family. The room was very clean with incredibly hot water which was great! And finally the view from the rooftop is magical!
