"Lilium Valley in Ollantaytambo was perfect for us. Communication with the hosts was excellent during booking and they answered all of our queries. A bonus was off-road parking for our rental car. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They offered us an early breakfast due to our early start onto the Inca Trail. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main square but was very quiet. We would definitely recommend Lilium Valley."

"This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) "Cute Peruvian hotel close to town - walkable to a mini market and restaurants. We would stand outside the hotel and flag down a motortaxi if we wanted to go further. They would charge us $5-8 sol ( about $1.75-$2.75 us ) to go into the town square or to the train station . The town square is really cute. The beds were comfy and the worker will give you a heater for your room if you’re cold ( we went in winter) . They stored our roll on bags while we went to Agues Calientes (Machu Picchu)...

"You cannot get more central in terms of location. Right at the end of the street from the train station and only a couple of blocks from the main plaza and the key archeological sites. The balcony rooms overlook the river and the rooms are very spacious. The included breakfast makes for an easy start to your day. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Sol Ollantay."
