I've stayed at the property a few times now, each time in different rooms, and I've always been happy with my experience and consider it good value for the price. Yes, the property is in need of an external facelift and some of the common parts e.g. stairway carpets are due replacing but it's evident works are going on and the rooms I've stayed have been modernised, clean and the showers are fab. "

"We stayed here for an overnight birthdat getaway. Lovely hotel and good amenities. This includes a bar and restaurant. The hotel has a small seating conservatory area at the front of the hotel which looks out to.the sea. Parking is in zone H opposite hotel controlled by Ringo.but its better to get a 24hr voucher for £2.55 from reception. Its a good location for Beachy Head, the beach and local shops. We had a seaview room with good views The room is decorated well and the bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. More attention needed in cleaning the shower hose tube which had black mould/ timescale on it. But apart from that all other areas were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room had a tv, clean kettle and cups with a selection of tea amd coffee inc biscuits. There is a lift to access all floors of the hotel . The hotel uses recycled toilets paper and water bottles. Drinks from the bar; We bought a bottle of water endorsed by the hotel by Aqua Libra- very expensive £4.55..and two bottles of Appletiser at £3.55 ea. I dont mind spending a little more but in my opinion this is a lot. We didnt used the 1912 restaurant, but it has good reviews. Overall, its a nice family owned hotel with welcoming staff. We would visit again. "
