If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay, then i highly recommend Cogo Tennoji Hostel. It is in a ideal place, close to many shopping malls and only a 20 minute train ride to Dotonbori. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Whwn i cone back to Osake, this is the only place that i will be staying at.

Very good experience.

Osaka was, in our trip, the best place we have visited. This town is really living, strong energy. Love it. Cogo Tennoji is nice hotel, easy to check in, easy to check out, and we was very quiet inside. Very very good experience in Osaka. My heart probably stayed there.

Friendly staff (they also speak English fluently) Good location, 10 minutes Walk from Tennoji station, a couple of Kombinis around as well. Large, pretty tatami room. Super clean and lovely. large shared space with tables and couches, and shared kitchen downstairs. Would definitely recommend. The only fault I could find are the check-in /check out times (4pm/10am) although those are pretty common for Japan. And we had to pay (200¥ Pp) to store our luggage before checking in as we arrived early. Also not a big deal.

Ok but COGO staff can do better

Generally ok but the other hotel guests behaviour leave much to desired. Not sure if they briefed but alot of self-centred behaviours hogging especially cups. COGO staff can do better about briefing their guests about Coliving behaviours

最悪な設備！絶対に泊まってはいけない！ 900回以上ホテルやホステルに泊まってきたが、日本とは思えないほど酷い！ 共有スペースや足湯は良いが、ウォーターサーバーすらなく、水も買う必要がある。 ドミトリーが最悪で、入り口のダイヤルの仕方も説明ないし、ドミトリー内にトイレと洗面所とシャワーがある！ベッドの真横にあり、うるさい！ しかも、外人はなぜかトイレのドアをちゃんと閉めない人が多く、トイレの臭いや邪気がそのままベッドに流れてくる！ 荷物置き場の配置も非常に使いにくい！ 鍵付きのロッカーは、ベッドにはなく、離れた場所にある上、全く鍵がかからない！ 私だけではなく、他のゲストのロッカーもほとんど開いたままになっており、全く鍵付きロッカーはない！ セキュリティも最悪で、いくらでも盗難される。 さらに、シャワーがほぼ水！いくら最大の40度にしてずっと待っても、水と同じくらい緩くしかならず、寒くて寒くて、洗い途中でシャワーを諦めた。冬なのに寒くて、その後身体がかんぜに冷えて寒くて眠れなかった！最悪だ！完全に風邪を引く！ 東南アジアのホステルかと思うくらい、酷い！ しかも、ドミトリーの室内も寒いと思っていたら、なんとエアコンが止まっていて、暖房が全く入っておらず、室温が16度だった！ あまりに寒くて寝られず、夜中の3時に気づいて暖房をつけた。 全く、この酷いホステルのせいで、寝る事すら出来なかった！ 全国各地900回は宿泊してるが、日本でこんな酷い施設は見た事がない。 部屋自体も、暖房は非常に弱い。 最悪すぎる！冬なのに身体が冷えすぎて、全然寝付けなかった。

楽しかったです。

3日間お世話になりました。 一階にある共同キッチン共同トイレは 定期的に清掃され不快感はありませんでした。海外にあるユースを想像してたので 宿泊する外国人もうるさくなく綺麗にパブリックスペースを綺麗に使って居たのにはビックリしました。客室は若干下水の臭いがするものの部屋の環境・騒音なども無くとても良かったです。
