"We loved our stay at the Jan Luyken from the moment we walked in. It is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the Museum Quarter that offers the best in service. Our room was perfect for our needs and the staff could NOT have been better. Everyone is young and helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is light but healthy and plentiful and afternoon drinks and snacks add a great touch. We recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone."

"I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. We arrived 2 days late due after a horrible experience with American Airlines, including lost luggage. The Conservatorium gave us some clothes and toiletries. We liked it so much, we decided to stay there a couple days after the cruise to explore Amsterdam. The room they gave us was too hot and the moved us to a cooler room. Also, I hurt my ankle and they provided a walking cane for the day. I would definitely stay here when visiting...

"That shower though! You have got to let guests know the showers don't drain well and to not go full water pressure. It will flood the bathroom fast. Also, not everyone knows how the handheld control works. Some instructions would be great!"

"Clean comfy room, smart en-suite, very comfy bed and a great night sleep. Great bar and lovely bar food. Restaurant looked lovely and great options ( didn't get to try as we fell asleep after a day of travelling. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we only spent 1 night, but would definitely return."

"We’ll run hotel in a wonderful area with luxury shops, a beautiful park and museums near by. The hotel is close to the tram and bus stops. Only negative is the hotel does not have air conditioning. We did open windows at night which kept the room cool. "

"Staff were so friendly and happy to help. Great location - nice neighbourhood and walking distance to city center etc. Had a lot of charm but room felt like it was soon due a bit of updating. Room wasn't well sound proofed either unfortunately, but the staff and surrounding area more than made up for it."
