"Location"

"Great hotel, great location to walk into York. Breakfast superb and staff very helpful. Would stay again."

"Very disappointing stay, particularly considering the price paid. The room was comfortable and the shower good, but housekeeping standards declined throughout our stay. Even after servicing, sheets were not changed, the floor was not hoovered and the bathroom was not mopped. Breakfast was poor in both quality and service, and got worse as the week progressed. "Breakfast , parking, staff, cleanliness"

"Charming National Trust Queen Anne House now hotel. Excellent service, good food and magnificent garden. Rooms pretty decent and deserving of 4 stars. Very pleasant two day stay."

"Not great"

"Room was big and clean with a lovely bed. Bathroom was ok but looking a bit tired. Parking was easy. Breakfast was great, everything you could want including omlettes. Didnt like the orange juice was more like orange squash. Public areas were modern and clean."

"Hotel is central. Bed is small for two and you hear noise for the other rooms."

"Staff was super helpful, and it has an all around package"

"Great place and host, would highly recommend"

"This is a delightful place. The staff is wonderful. The building is charming"

"This is a pleasant and convenient hotel that I would definitely stay at again."

"Very rude staff and rooms that are not great for the price they charge. The parking situation is also pretty bad, ended up having to park quite far from the hotel entrance, and with lots of luggage, it was an extra hassle. I'd say spend your money elsewhere."

"Great hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast and evening meal. Good location, right next to the town"

"The hotel was in great location near the center. The staff were kind and very helpful. The rooms were nice."
