"The location was superb. It was a few minutes walk to the main points of interest yet a quiet street with a lot of local flavour. It’s just one street over from excellent shops and cafes that the host will very kindly point out to incoming guests. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped."

"Easy to walk to shopping, restaurants, bars and groceries. Quiet building and very comfortable apartment. Would definitely stay again!"

"Lukten på toalettet var forferdelig, så ta med luftrenser. Underdimensjonert aircondition, spesielt soverommet er veldig varmt. kjøkken i dårlig stand, men maur. Dialogen med utleier var tung, og gikk på flere forskjellige plattformer, og hele tiden var ønske om å selge flere tjenester. Plantene på terrassen har død for flere år siden. Flott inngangsparti for hele bygget og fin utsikt. "

"La struttura è molto carina, all’interno nuova e pulita. Vista dall’esterno può suscitare qualche dubbio in quanto situata in un complesso di case vecchie. Si trova in una zona popolata per lo più da stranieri, vicino alla stazione dei treni, e non proprio pulitissima. Per il resto è tutto a portata di mano se vi piace camminare, Palermo è stupenda e le persone gentili ed accoglienti. Un plus è la vicinanza del mercato di Ballarò, un’esperienza da vivere assolutamente. "

"Would have given 5 stars for all, but the AC did not work. Host said to use remote which didn't work. Tried good batteries from tv and still didn't work. Area is way too noisy to leave windows open at night. Angelo was great bringing keys and explaining best as possible being I don't speak Italian. Would be too hot in summer without AC."

"Management company can be hard to get a hold of. Even sending messages thru WhatsApp go ignored. Check in process could be easier. Overall property was as advertised, but no wifi available. Decent place to stay so close to the old party of the city. "

"Convenient to Palermo Centrale and a short walk to Quattro Canti and many other sights, this spacious three-bedroom apartment was perfect for our group of five (two couples, one solo). Owners Giulia and Francesco were easy to communicate with and offered good advice when we needed it (before and during our stay). The bedrooms and private baths in each room were very nice - typical small European showers, but that's not unusual - everything was clean, bright and included a few welcome snacks...

"Nice and fresh apartement close to Lolli trainstation. However the bed is upstairs and not so easy to walk up and down on (norwegian stairs) The warmwater heater is small so no long hot showers if You are more than one. The sofa bed is noisy and well used. Probably a good stay for a young person/couple"

"overall a wonderful place to stay , excellently maintained , good location , only down side was that there isnt a sitting area besides the dining room , says its a 3rd floor walk up which is technically true , but it is 97 stairs up to the space. "

"We loved staying at Casa San Francesco! The room is beautiful renovated and the location is absolutely perfect for walking around all the best places in Palermo. Amazing place to stay for the price point! Monica our host was also very helpful and kind. The only thing I would note is to be sure to read your email and submit your arrival info in advance if you are arriving on a weekend. As there is no front desk, we couldn’t even drop our bags off as I had not communicated my arrival time in...

"Beautiful old building with lovely inner courtyard with a fountain. Roof could be drawn back. Very central location easy walk from the station which was useful as we arrived by train in the evening from Naples. Large, clean, comfortable room. Very good breakfast. All at a very good price. "
