Louis Althea Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Louis hotels always seem to have great food. Although there is just the one buffet restaurant used for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the range of food available is superb and always of the highest quality. How many other AI hotels could you go to and have mussels twice in a 4 day stay, each dish different and beautifully prepared. The seafood terrine in the salad section for lunch on day 2 was amazing, and the carvery choices on Sunday evening really were excellent. Also, all the desserts are proper dishes, not the flavourless sponge and jelly and catering cream with 5 different bright but tasteless coloured toppings you get in most AI restaurants. These were true desserts like strawberry mousse, tiramisu cake, chocolate and caramel gateaux etc. Away from the food, both pool areas were clean with plenty of sunbeds and sunshades. It would have been nice to have some waiter service around the beds. The grass area at the bottom of the main pool by the coast path was great to stop at. You can access both the beach and the main pool and you get extra shade from the palms and some more breeze. Despite what people say about the room conditions, ours was fully functional and clean. The decor is a little tired however all the lights, taps and sockets work, the kitchenette area was very well equiped and we had a corner room (upgraded) which stayed very cool and shaded. Finally, we would have liked a bar option separate from the entertainment area and all the staff are very friendly."
Anastasia Waterpark Beach Resort

"The food was excellent and there was a wide variety of different dishes to sample every evening. The local Cypriot staff were very friendly, welcoming and always ready to assist, namely Stella, Despina, Pambos, Yiangos and Andreas. The dining hall is modern, clean and spacious. The hotel has several swimming pools and waterparks. The local beaches are very nice with crystal clear waters. The scenic coastal footpath to Protaras is impressive and wheelchair friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel."

"This is a very good hotel. Very clean and smells nice inside. All the staff are very nice and management often walks around asking guests how they are doing. Rooms are big and modern. Gym is very basic. Food could be better at dinner as there were no plain food (e.g. grilled fish or chicken) as everything was either fried or in a sauce."

"Beautiful grounds , nice pools, nice spacious lobby, helpful staff, rich plentiful breakfast, great proximity to beach and all shopping and restaurants. Comfortable bedding. The only thing that could use an upgrade and improvement are the hallway carpets, wall paint and doors. Great stay overall!"

"For family with little children it was wanderfull experiance The staff and service was great! So welcoming and ready to help with anything The room size and maitenance suprised us for the best The location was wanderfull for us- close to good resturants and the beach. The vriaty of the food was very good specialy the fresh salads was great for me We had great time at the pool every day We would like to return again"
