"Great hotel. Super comfty bed and nice touches. Air conditioning was excellent. Really helpful to have a fridge and coffee machine /kettle. "Delightful hotel in the middle of historic Matera. Quirky, comfortable, clean with wonderful staff, particularly Vito. He organised parking for us and had lots of great suggestions for dinner. His colleague, who did our check in, give us a fantastic overview to the town with lots of information. "

"Loved this Dimora! It is close to the city centre but with easy parking - we paid 10€ a day for the private garage which gave us peace of mind. The room was beautiful- felt brand new with lovely en-suite bathroom and amazing shower! Towels were changed daily. The host was extremely helpful and gave us tips on booking tours as well as providing vouchers to use in local cafes for included breakfasts. All in all a wonderful stay. Matera is amazing well worth a visit!"

"The property is in a great location on the edge of the historic old town with views just outside of the valley and caves as well as the historic church of San Pietro Caveoso with the Casa Grotta. Breakfast was very good also. Just bear in mind that the property is in the city restricted zone so we had to park around 0.5 miles away and walk with our bags - would have been good if the property description mentioned this as well as pointing out where you can park. Maters is a fantastic little place...

The accomodation exists of a main house (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) and two smaller units (both double bedrooms with their own entrance and private bathroom).
