"The location for this hotel is absolutely terrific. You are a 10-12 minute walk from the galata tower, not very hilly may I add. About a 5 minute walk from tophane tram station and lots of food options nearby. Loved the vitamin bar (fresh juice) especially. Please be aware that if you are planning on going towards taxim, the roads are super hilly. If you are someone that is not used to a lot of incline, you will struggle. "The apartment had a lovely view over the ocean and a full kitchen, and made a great home base for our stay in Istanbul. It’s right near the T1 tram which goes to ferries and the big sights, and there are lots of great restaurants and shops in Cihangir. Host was friendly and communicative. Loved it!"
