"I wanted to first thank the cleaning staff. My daughter left her AirPods and they returned them. Tried to leave a tip but they didn’t know the name of the person that returned them. I have been using this hotel the past 6 years and I love it. The breakfast is so delicious. Must try the chilaquiles & fresh croissants. I do want to recommend to not get the hotel side it’s next to a bar & it’s noisy. Heard they are upgrading the windows & doors hope is true."

"We had an amazing stay. Room, Staff and food was amazing. The only negative experience we had was with the travel agency at the hotel. We booked a morning tour to Isla Mujeres. The evening before we got a late letter under the door saying we got moved from 9.30am to 12pm. Weather was iffy in the afternoon so we went back to the travel agency to change it for the following day. The next day we were picked up and arrived in Cozumel at the port and found out they changed us to from an adult only all inclusive luxury tour to a family tour which was not what we wanted or paid for. Luckily the staff at the port was very nice and they had room on the adult only boat, so we got to experience what we booked. Other than that everything was perfect! BUT if you travel in July, the beaches are full of seaweed. It is the season. We knew that coming in and did tours. Isla Mujeres and Cozumel had none."

"Amazing stay in Playa del Carmen, checkin was fabulous with Luis (all staff were friendly and helpful), room was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean - hotel is quite new and very tastefully decorated. Lovely rooftop pool and well equipped gym on the ground floor. No restaurant service after breakfast but we knew that and there’s a lot of food choice around. Situated just off 5th Avenue, seconds walk to shops and restaurants at the quieter end of town. We would recommend a massage at Veronica’s across the road and beauty treatments at Monika’s on 5th. We stayed at the end of a 1 month trip and were aware of sargassum at the beach so were happy to stay nearer town. Perfectly located also for the Xcaret parks. Highly recommend."
