"Great staff, clean room, well kept. Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing, greasy and not quality ingredients. we are vegan/vegetarian and the plant based bacon was very greasy, only small half grilled tomato and almost burned sausage. it would be great to check for fresher ingredients "

"We had a really lovely stay - the room was spacious, really nicely designed, fresh muted colours, with stylish details (and lots of plug sockets!), very comfortable bed, an excellent shower room, peaceful spot with lovely view, yet easy to walk into town, great staff, felt very festive and cheerful decorated for the season. parking easy to get at too and very central."

"Early morning train to Calais so did not want to take a chance with the traffic/weather with our drive from Leicestershire. Hotel is conveniently placed about a 10 minute drive from the Channel Tunnel. Room was large/clean & quiet. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive; we ate at a small Thai which was really good. Breakfast was good and quick. Overall have paid much more for less."
