"We had a great time here for my boyfriends birthday. The hot tub is lovely and the surrounding area beautiful with lots of amenities. Feels very private even though you're next to 3 other huts. I'd really recommend it and will be coming back to stay"

"We enjoyed our short break in excellent accommodation, which was perfect for our needs. Clearly a lot of thought had gone in to the accommodation and everything had been finished to a high standard. We would certainly stay there again if we are in the area and would recommend to anyone who is visiting East Sussex, an perfect base for many local National Trust places."

"WE had an excellent stay with our two young grandchildren. It was perfectly located as we had visited Chatham historic dockyard and spending the next day at Tenterden heritage railway. So much so the youngest wanted to stay an extra night! The description is spot on, Our host extremely helpful with local knowledge. Highly recommend "

"The house, though a bit dated in structure and furnishing, had an undeniable charm and a warm atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and the garden was absolutely lovely. A truly delightful place to stay!"

"A fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, country walks from the doorstep and the coast 9 miles away. A small shop a few miles away and a pub within a mile. Woodpeckers is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. The enclosed garden was a bonus. Sitting in the conservatory looking across the countryside was calm and peaceful. Overall a great place. We would definitely return and recommend."

"The Annex was lovely and clean with everything that was needed in the kitchen. We were close to shops and the beach, with the option to travel in to near by towns which weren’t too far away. Great location for our dog too as she had the freedom of the garden. Lovely place to stay and would stay here again 😊"

"A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future."

"If you want to get away from it all & enjoy the peace of the Sussex countryside the Cart Lodge is perfect. Great little cottage, which is well equipped & in a good location to explore East Sussex. "We loved the cottage. The garden was great for the dogs and the cottage was pretty. We were looking for somewhere remote and away from the rush and pressure of life and this was perfect. There are lots of lovely places to go or just relax in the garden or summerhouse. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom really beautiful. It was easy to cook for meals in the cottage and there a shops a short drive away. The owners were lovely - really kind and going the extra mile."
