"Really lovely property, close to Lake Como. Excellently furnished and fully equipped. A bit of a hike from the road - up a number of cobbled steps... but, I am 60 years old and could manage it easily enough - 'though not as quickly as my 21 year old son - but we wouldn't get the beautiful views from the terrace without the short up-hill hike - so well worth it IMO. There are a few places to park - but the closer ones were generally full, so a 10-15 minute walk along the road was usually...

"Ein wundervolles Appartement, ausgestattet mit allem, was man sich wünscht. Den Luxus eines Weinkühlschranks habe nicht daheim. Atemberaubend ist der Blick auf den See, ob von den Fenstern oder den Terrassen aus. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Der Lebensmittelladen am Ort hat alles was man braucht und super Fleisch- und Wurstwaren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden beim nächsten Aufenthalt mehr Zeit mitbringen."

"As far as value for money is concerned, I'm not sure that you could find somewhere better. Spacious, bright and clean. Be prepared for some tricky driving conditions on the local roads if arriving by car, and you'll need to be prepared for the stairs to get to the apartment...but it's worth it. Very comfy beds, and after having travelled for a few weeks, the washing machine was very handy. Be mindful that there aren't many places to eat nearby, but one gem 5 mins walk towards Como is Peppos -...
