"We started out in the standard Preserve rooms and to be honest, we were not impressed. The room was not as advertised and just felt old and basic. We decided to upgrade to a Sanctuary corner room and it totally saved the trip. It was absolutely one of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in. Views were great and the vibe was modern and fun. The outdoor hot tube was just what we wanted. Food was exceptional. We’re not total foodies but appreciate good food and great experiences. All of the food we had was great and far above most resorts. The staff was exceptional. Efrain, Nitza, Andrea and Edson were particularly fantastic. We felt welcomed and appreciated. They are superb at their jobs and should be commended. We’ve stayed at the Garza Blanca here and in Cabo. Cancun might be next. "
