"The Carleton is my #1 choice when in Singapore The value and location is my main reasons for choosing the Carleton over all other hotels in the area. The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street. There is a food pavilion with small restaurants and bars with live entertainment and TV's for sports in the lower courtyard. The MRT is a short walk. The Buffet is good and their Chinese restaurant is even better. For value comparison J.W in Southbeach " which is phenomenal" it will also cost you in turn mid to high 300's SGD vs The Carlton's " Great" in the lower 200's SGD to high 100's. When choosing a Prmoer Delux room, you will have view room options of Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Their pool and gym is also better than most of the hotels in the area's including those listed as " Luxury 5 Star. Hope this helps. Enjoy Singapore!!
