Our host for check in and also morning breakfast was very personable and helpful.

The room was very spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable. The grounds and the building itself are very nondescript.

The room cleanliness is excellent. The staff is helpful. Love the location can see the ocean as soon as you step out of the room.

Great location

My family and I have been coming to this motel for years. Really enjoyed the upgrades to the room, especially the laminate flooring. We also loved the convenience of having the large open grass area for our dog. Will definitely go back again!

One our favorites places to stay on the central California coast

Reasonably prices, great location. Lots of necessities and extras provided. Wonderful staff. 2 min walk to restaurant.

This is an older property, but it's managed by its upscale neighbor (Cavalier Oceanfront Resort) and provides amenities (fancy toiletries, room service, attentive staff, beach access) that you would not expect in its price range. Definitely attractive for a short stay, for a longer stay visit its neighbor.

Food around the area NOT good

It was an amazing stay but I wish there was a firepit outside. I loved the little quaint street that this hotel, and many other similar inns, are on. There are several restaurants that are easy to walk or bike to. The views are great (though our window was a little fogged and hard to see out of our side view). We loved the easy access to the boardwalk and to moonstone beach for moonstone hunting. That was the entire reason we stayed there anyway! Loved the large room and fireplace. It was...

Quaint and very nice. Staff was. Rey friendly and helpful. Very quiet and slept well after visiting Hearst Castle. We'll definitely be coming back.

This property is excellent for a family. The pool is perfect. It is definitely better than being in Morro Bay. Less busy and more beautiful. I will be back.

Right off Moonstone beach. The ocean is a stone's throw away. Convenient to a local restaurant (next door) and partnered with a local restaurant for room service. The room was spacious & clean with a fireplace & comfy beds. I'd highly recommend the place to others.
